Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of a personal Caeiro account ("Caeiro", "the service"), a product of RealUtil operated by Yuval Kleinfeld in Portugal. By creating an account you agree to them.
1. What Caeiro is
Caeiro is a personal AI assistant with memory. It answers your questions, remembers what you tell it, organizes the knowledge you save, and helps you with reminders and tasks. You can also create your own AI characters and, if you choose, publish one for others to chat with. Caeiro is a software tool; it is not a person and is not a licensed professional.
2. Your account
- You must give an accurate email and keep your password secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be old enough to form a binding contract and to consent to data processing in your country (in the EU, generally 16, or the lower age your country sets). Caeiro is not intended for children.
- The service is in an early-access phase; we may decline, limit, or end access at our discretion.
3. AI output — accuracy and limits
Caeiro's answers are generated by AI and may be incomplete or wrong. They are general information, not legal, medical, tax, financial, or other professional advice. Verify anything that matters with a qualified professional before relying on it. Caeiro does not guarantee accuracy, availability, or any specific outcome.
4. Acceptable use
- No unlawful, harmful, harassing, discriminatory, or deceptive use.
- No attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or extract the system's instructions or other users' data.
- Do not upload content you do not have the right to use, or other people's personal data without a lawful basis. If you publish a character for others, you are responsible for what it is set up to say.
- No use that violates the terms of WhatsApp or any sub-processor listed in the Privacy Policy.
5. Your content
Your content and the data you put into Caeiro remain yours. You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the service for you (for example, sending your messages to the AI providers that generate the answers). Caeiro, its software, and its content remain ours.
6. Plans and fees
Caeiro offers a free tier and one or more paid plans. Free use is subject to usage limits. Where a paid plan applies, you pay the agreed price for that plan. During early access, features may be offered without charge, and we will give notice before any fee applies to you.
7. Data and privacy
Our handling of your personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. You can delete your account and data yourself at any time from the account menu.
8. Warranties and liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here affects the mandatory rights you have as a consumer.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms or to protect the service or its users. On termination we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; we will update the effective date and notify account holders of material changes. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Portugal, except where mandatory consumer or data-protection law of your country of residence provides otherwise.
